 FAQs

  • Flip It Out’s mission is to have a meaningful and encouraging impact on your child’s development not only in their gymnastics career, but also as an individual person. We are not only dedicated to helping each child become the best gymnast they can be, but also to helping them develop into a happy, healthy, and responsible individual.

  • If a student wishes to withdraw from a class, a two-week notice is required. The withdrawal form can be found on our website under the "Current Students" section, in the "Handbooks and Forms" tab. Once the form is submitted, we will process the withdrawal and update your account accordingly.

  • We use age as a starting point for class placement, but we understand that every student progresses at their own pace. If a student is advancing more quickly or needs additional time to master certain skills, we may recommend a different level. Our goal is to ensure that each student feels comfortable and challenged in their class, allowing them to grow at a pace that’s right for them.

Students receive progress reports in March, and class placement recommendations are made by the instructor. Throughout the year, instructors continually assess students' skills to ensure they are placed in the most suitable class.

  • We provide information through several channels: Facebook, Instagram, this website, and our app. A monthly newsletter is sent out and posted on Facebook, and bulletin displays are available in the studio lobby. We also use Remind and the app to send important announcements. You can stay up to date by joining our mailing list here: Join Mailing List.

  • There are three ways to register for a class. You can register online using the following link: Register Here, stop by the studio during business hours, or use our app for a quick and convenient registration. Our office staff is also available to assist you with the registration process if you choose to register in person.

  • GIRLS: Leotards are preferred, but girls may wear tucked in t-shirts

and shorts. Shorts may be worn over leotards. If shirts are worn,

please make sure the shirt is fitted enough to not flip over their heads

when upside down. Hair should be pulled neatly and securely away

from the face so that it stays up for the entire workout. No hairbows

are allowed and no jewelry is allowed except for stud earrings.

BOYS: Boys can wear tucked-in t-shirts and shorts. No buttons,

belts, or zippers should be on shorts. If shirts are worn, please make

sure the shirt is fitted enough to not flip over their heads when upside

    down.

  • Tuition rates can be found under each class description.

    45 minutes: $93

    60 minutes: $104

  • The meet offers our students a professionally directed performance that allows them to present to their families and friends the results of a year’s hard work, dedication, and progress.

A big part of the gymnastic training process includes learning from the performance. The experience helps build self-esteem, self-assurance, and contributes to building a gymnast’s confidence. Although performance opportunities can prepare some students for a possible career in gymnastics, they also contribute to children’s success in non-gymnastic activities. Participating in the meet can result in better in-school presentations, improved social skills, and strong interview skills for future college or job opportunities.

  • The membership fee helps cover administrative costs such as enrolling students into our payment system, managing newsletters, and maintaining communication channels. In addition, members receive exclusive discounts on birthday parties, classes, events, and more. This fee ensures that we can continue providing seamless communication and valuable benefits to our students and their families.

  • Classrooms are closed to parents and caregivers to create a focused, distraction-free environment where students can engage fully in their learning. This allows instructors to provide personalized attention and helps students develop independence and confidence. However, classes can be viewed from the lobby or through the app, and we also offer scheduled observation days for families to see their child’s progress.

  • Regular attendance is essential for a student’s progress and development. Consistency helps students build on the skills they are learning week by week, ensuring they don’t fall behind. It also promotes discipline, strengthens technique, and fosters a sense of commitment. Regular attendance allows students to stay on track with choreography, class goals, and overall growth in their dance or gymnastics journey.
