Cierra was born and raised in central New Jersey.  She started dancing at the age of 5.  She received training in the genres of ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and gymnastics. She was under the direction of Carolyn Watson at the Watson Johnson Dance Studio and Shaffers Gymnastics.  Throughout the years, she focused more on the style of hip hop and drill and competed in both styles of dance. 

Cierra has been part of the Dance It Out family for 10 years and holds certifications in USAG, YPAD, and Tumbling Effects. She currently resides in South Hill with her husband and their two children, Lailah and Andrew Malkin Jr.
