Frequently asked questions.

WHY CHOOSE FLIP IT OUT?

Flip It Out’s mission is to have a meaningful and encouraging impact on your child’s development not only in their gymnastics career, but also as an individual person. We are not only dedicated to helping each child become the best gymnast they can be, but also to helping them develop into a happy, healthy, and responsible individual.

WHAT DOES A STUDENT NEED TO DO TO DROP A CLASS?

If a student wants to drop a class, a two-week notice must be given. If a withdrawal is made after payment for tuition, a $50 fee will be added to account.

WHY DO STUDENTS HAVE TO PAY JUNE TUITION?

Tuition is 10 monthly installments. Tuition is not based on the number of weeks per month. Tuition must be paid consecutively. Students cannot periodically attend months. A reenrollment fee of $25 will be assessed.

HOW ARE STUDENTS PLACED?

Students are placed according to age and experience. Students receive progress reports in March and are recommended for class placement by the instructor. Skills are accessed by instructors throughout the year.

WHY DOES JUNE TUITION NEED TO BE PAID WHEN REGISTERING FOR CLASSES?

We charge June tuition in place to hold the student’s place in the class. June fees are typically difficult to collect during the end of the year so this helps make things go smoother.

HOW TO STAY INFORMED?

Information is found on Facebook, Instagram, and this website. A monthly newsletter is sent out each month and is also found on Facebook. Bulletin displays are also located in the lobby.

HOW DO I REGISTER FOR A CLASS?

There are two ways to register for a class. Classes can be registered online using the following link: https://app.jackrabbitclass.com/regv2.asp?id=523738 or stop by the studio during our business hours to register for a class. Our office staff will assist you with the registration process.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR EACH CLASS?

GIRLS: Leotards are preferred, but girls may wear tucked in t-shirts
and shorts. Shorts may be worn over leotards. If shirts are worn,
please make sure the shirt is fitted enough to not flip over their heads
when upside down. Hair should be pulled neatly and securely away
from the face so that it stays up for the entire workout. No hairbows
are allowed and no jewelry is allowed except for stud earrings.

BOYS: Boys can wear tucked-in t-shirts and shorts. No buttons,
belts, or zippers should be on shorts. If shirts are worn, please make
sure the shirt is fitted enough to not flip over their heads when upside
down.

WHAT IS THE TUITION RATE FOR DANCE CLASSES?

Tuition is an annual rate. We offer 3 convenient payment options. Tuition can be paid by annual fee, bi-annual fee (two equal payments), or monthly fee (ten equal payments).

WHAT IS THE MEET?

The meet offers our students a professionally directed performance that allows them to present to their families and friends the results of a year’s hard work, dedication, and progress.

A big part of the gymnastic training process includes learning from the performance.  The experience helps build self-esteem, self-assurance, and contributes to building a gymnast’s confidence.  Although performance opportunities can prepare some students for a possible career in gymnastics, they also contribute to children’s success in non-gymnastic activities.  Participating in the meet can result in better in-school presentations, improved social skills, and strong interview skills for future college or job opportunities.
